Goal of Natalie A. De La Luz's internship project was to intiate feasibility study of utilizing piezoelectric and ferroelectric ceramic powder based inks to enhance tunability of 3D printed RF and Microwave substrates. She together with graduate mentor developed and characterize electrical properties of inks with different curing conditions.
Julia's project focused on measurement of co-efficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of different ceramic thermoplastic composites. The measured data was compared with analytical models avaialable in literature.
